Oh, sure. You're celebrating Zoom's birthday today.
You're even celebrating National All Bufflehead's (sic) Day.
But are you celebrating National Grouch Day? You know, Oscar the Grouch's birthday?
Figures.
You probably wouldn't even have noticed the apostrophe if I hadn't sicced Latin annotations on it.

Hey! You remembered! Thanks Grouchy. I actually did know it was Oscar's birthday today, and National Grouch Day, although I confess this is the first I've heard of the Bobblehead's (sic).
Happy Grouch Day to you, Grouchy. (Or is it more appropriate to wish you an UNhappy Grouch Day?)
I hadn't heard of them either, but that's probably all part of the Greens' elaborate plan.
I also noticed that David Scrimshaw has posted photos of the wonderful things I got him and Manon for their wedding, including a box full of binder clips, and an official Wedding Card.
Joke's on them, though. He says he keeps his card in his wallet, but it's clearly written (in fine print, of course) that it's only valid in the blogosphere! Now that's all part of the elaborate plan of the chiropractors.
As for whether or not to have a Happy Grouch Day (does grouching sound like a happy thing to do?!?), I refer you to the list of 15 ways to celebrate National Grouch Day from 2009. You think I'm going to bother writing those all out again this year? Hah!

RG, I didn't say I keep my wedding card in my wallet. I said I keep it in my pocket.
And I never forget National Grouch Day. It's in my Google Calendar with a link to your 2009 post. (You can verify this by looking at the calendar widget in my sidebar.)
It's good to see you honouring your special day.
"Grouching" sounds like a naughty activity to me...
