cc Clive Doucet

Dear Councillor Holmes,

I am writing you to ask you to end the disruption in transit service as soon as possible so that residents can get back to their lives.

I'll be honest: the strike has not significantly affected me personally (in fact, I would have a difficult time saying that it has affected me at all), but enough is enough. There are lots of people it is affecting, and the conflict between the City and the union is creating a lot of tension and bad vibes in the atmosphere. For example, comments on online news articles and blogs are filled with very angry (and even hateful) rhetoric.

The strike is dividing the community and is creating a very unhealthy atmosphere. Please fix it.

Sincerely,

- RG>

I've actually gotten to a place where I don't care anymore. I've resigned myself to thinking we're never going to have buses again and I will adjust my life accordingly. I'm just have residual sadness and anger on behalf of the people have no other options
